Lunch is here, a lunch time is here
After assemblies or house times we fear.
I think the best times of our lives are nearing an end,
I do, don’t you? Course you do!
‘Cos there’s one thing I’ll miss about MLC,
The thing that made school a real treat for me…!
No more assessments or stresses when we’re in our school dresses
And poisoning the ibises in Burwood park!
Every lunch time you’ll see some Year 12 girls and me
As we poison the ibises in Burwood park.
When they see us coming, the birdies try n’ hoot or flee,
As we feed them with arsenic while on prefect du-hoo-tee…
The sun’s shining bright, everything seems all right
When we’re poisoning ibises in Burwood park!
We fool them with piety and cause much anxiety
To Newington a school on whom we prey,
For our notoriety won’t go away quietly
If PLC keeps on getting in our way.
And if we look suddenly pious,
It’s ‘coz Meriden got confused with an I-HI-BUS!
And it’s great fun you see if we all gleefully
Went and poisoned the ibises in Burwood park.
Even Saturdays are rife with our guns and our knives
As we stalk all the ibises in Burwood park,
For sport sausage sizzles that taste pure heh-heh-ven
Are the same kind of ibis we feed to year seh-heh-ven…
My heartbeat goes faster as we murder the bastards
And poke our an iris (there’s no need for bias)
And poison an ibis in Burwood Park!
